What is the joy of our salvation and what does it mean for us as believers?
Last night I watched the heart of man. A person speaking in the movie said, "Shame drives my compulsive behavior... I’m never going to be enough so I’m entitled to do ________." Shame is a trap. It speaks a number of lies to us.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, or so that is what the saying says, Don't wait until tomorrow to act. Act today.
Let freedom ring? It is nice to be able to freely worship as we please in America. But even better is the ability to worship freely in Christ living for him.
Galatians tells us that we have been set free from the bonds of religion... One of my favorite passages dealing with the "so what" then comes from Romans 6... We have been saved by grace, but this is not a get out of jail free or a fire insurance card.
