Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever. Yes he is eternal, but he is the same today as he was when he walked the earth.
We as Christians are called to live behind enemy lines. We live in enemy occupied territory, but not enemy owned territory. We as the church must not become so inwardly focused that we forget our mission to walk alongside God in the expansion of his kingdom.
Jesus said his food is to do the will of God. It is obvious what food is for people, but what does this tell us about God's will in our lives?
Today we announced that we are leaving Court Drive. It was the hardest day I have had the last 2 years. It is bittersweet, but rather than goodbye, maybe it is better to be viewed as a see you around. Writing this brings tears to my eyes, it is not easy by any means. But as a wise person told me the other day when we spoke, "because it is hard means it was good." I hope our 2 years together was as good for you in your walk with Christ and friendship with us as it has been for us.
