I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by man, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and inerrant in message (2 Tim 3:16)
I believe that the one living and true God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19; John 1; 10:30; 14:16-17; 2 Cor 13:14; Col 1:15). Best described in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds.
I believe that Jesus Christ is fully God (Col 1:15; Heb 1:1-4) and fully man (John 1:14; 1 John 4:2), and that he died on the cross for our sins (Phil 2) and rose on the third day (1 Cor 15:3-5;).
I believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and that he empowers us for daily living (John 14:26; Rom 8:9; 1 Cor 2:12-13) and seals our salvation (Eph 1:13-14).
I believe that people are created by God in his image to show his glory (Gen 1:27), but we have separated ourselves from God (Rom 1:25; 5:12) and all are in need of His saving grace (Rom 3:23; 6;23; Eph 2:8).
I believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace (Eph 2:8-9), and we receive this gift of eternal life when we trust Jesus Christ as our Savior from sin (John 3:16).
I believe that the church is the body of Christ (Eph 1:22-23; 4:15-16) and that God has called believers to gather together in local church families (1 Cor 12:12). The church is the vessel which Christ chose to be his body to work in the world and therefore the church should be equipping each other (Eph 4:11-16; 1 Thess 5:11; Heb 10:24-25) and sharing the good news of Jesus (Matt 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor 1:17; 2 Cor 5:20).
I believe that Jesus Christ will come again (Matt 6:20; 24 1 Thess 1:10; 5:23; Tit 2:13; Rev 1:7) and reign eternally (Rev 11:15; 21; 22).
**There are many other beliefs which I hold, but for the main and basic theologies, here is what I believe.
